Our sessions are specific and tailored to each age group (Youth Leaders, Middle Managers, Kappa Leaguers). Some of our topics include saving, bank accounts, credit cards, check books, preparing for college, stocks and bonds, money management, investing, financial planning and decision making.
Time after time we host other community entrepreneurs to come in and showcase their business and stories to our young men. Our Guest usually share their journey on how they became the successful business owners that are today.
We all know as boys transition into young men their bodies go through puberty and other body-like changes. In addition, teenagers and young adults tend to be active in sports and other activities. Thus, we find the need to address personal hygiene and how to take care of your body as young adults. We host at least one session each year to talk about cleanliness and body hygiene – how to manage it, routines and other best practices as it relates to this topic. These sessions are tailored to each age group (Youth Leaders, Middle Managers, Kappa Leaguers).
Similar to Personal Hygiene, we find it important to inform our young on how to groom them selves appropriately. These sessions include topics and activities of ironing, shoe shining, shirt and pants measurements, grooming facial hair, how to tie a tie/bowtie, and much more. These are targets to our two older groups – Middle Managers and Kappa Leaguers.
